I am finally putting in an entry and I have to be honest, I'm doing it because I feel guilty letting it waste after all of Clarissa's effort to set things up.
Summer break is almost over and although I have really enjoyed having the kids around I am looking forward to getting back on a schedule and starting up some projects that I need to work on. I find myself a little lost and wasting a lot of time because I don't have anything to work on. With my obsession of the Twilight series over, I need to be productive again and that is hard to do with 4 kids running around the house.
Tyson is 10 and has a great time directing his brother and sisters in what they need to so. It's hard for him to draw the line on when to be the fun brother or the babysitter. He is absolutely helpful most of the time and always makes us laugh with his wittiness.
Devin is 6 and is aboslutely crazy. He is either extremely happy or grumping around the house. He loves to explore and check out new things. He is very daring and loves to eat sour treats and play legos.
Hallie is 4 and has been a little bored over the summer. The boys don't want to entertain her and I spend a lot of time cleaning up our trashed house and takiing care of little Jacie, which leaves Hallie hanging around. She spend most of her time coloring and creating with the art stuff.
Jacie is 1 now and is very independent. We are all in love with her and she knows it. She points her finger and grunts for whatever she wants. She loves to knock down block towers and play outside.
We have had a great time this summer swimming, reading books, playing games, going to the YMCA, doing science experiements, watching movies together, and going to ITZ. With school starting I'm not looking forward to all the scheduling conflicts and carpooling, but it will be nice to get back on track!
