Alpine slides and Wind Caves

On the way back into Custer we happened upon the alpine slides. This was one of the best parts of the trip for all of us. The kids had so much fun, even little Jacie loved it and wanted to go faster. The next day we went to the Wind Caves near Hot Springs. While it was very interesting and refreshingly cool, the tour was a little long and Jacie quickly let us know she'd had enough. After finding our way out, we grabbed some lunch at Dairy Queen and went to Evans Plunge for swimming and waterslides. The boys were constantly on the waterslides and Jacie and Hallie liked the smaller pool where they could do the frog slide and sit on a whale with water shouting out. We were all exhausted after such a busy day and enjoyed a night out at Wrangler's for dinner.

Hallie would make a great miner - she looks adorable in that hat!
